Three days full of activities with overnight stays at Best Western Hotel Slenaken.
Day 1: On Monday, September 28, we’ll set off in the morning for the “De Locht” Open-Air Museum, where we’ll be welcomed with coffee, tea, and pastries. It’s as if we’re stepping back in time—everything in this museum village is just as it used to be in this small village in North Limburg.
Day 2: On Tuesday, we’ll explore the area around Gulpen with a guide. There’s plenty to see and do in this beautiful landscape! From the many castles in the area to the green heathlands, there will be plenty of photo opportunities on this day.
Day 3: On Wednesday, on our way back, we’ll visit the Steyl Mission Museum, which houses a vast ethnographic and zoological collection from all corners of the globe, assembled by missionaries. Afterward, we’ll have lunch at Brasserie ’t Vaerhoes, which overlooks the village square. Given the rich history of the village of Steyl, this place simply had to be included in the itinerary.
